It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to Shahid Smarak English Boarding School, an institution set up at the dawn of 2047 B.S. Our school has been established with the objective of providing education to cultivate discipline and integrity among the students so that they emerge as responsible citizens who can serve the country with devotion.

Shahid Smarak English Boarding School is a disciplined and responsible institution, where excellence of character and intellect is given topmost priority. We believe in shaping young minds and molding them into a strong spirited leader who can bring positive change in the society and nation. We offer our sincere gratitude to the teachers, parents, and well-wishers associated with the institution for their continuous support and guidance.

“Sacrifice for the Nation” is our motto as we strive to inculcate nationalistic attitude amongst our students so that they can become an asset to the nation.

As the Chairman, I pledge to work assiduously to make the institution responsive to the changing needs of the time while at the same time, staying true to the objectives that guided its birth and development. In addition, I work towards strengthening the existing excellent infrastructure while encouraging students, teachers, and parents to contribute to the growth of the institution.

Lastly, I express my deepest gratitude to the teachers, parents, well-wishers, and students for their faith and cooperation in making Shahid Smarak English Boarding School a remarkable educational institution.

Dear students, parents, teachers and well wishers,

Standing before you today fills my heart with an overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude. When we first opened the doors of this institution, our school was not defined by large buildings or established traditions. It was defined by a simple, powerful vision: to create a sanctuary where curiosity could thrive, character could be built, and every child could discover their unique potential.

In those early days, we faced skepticism and challenges that tested our resolve. Yet, we persevered because we believed in a foundational truth: education is not the filling of a bucket, but the lighting of a fire. We set out to teach our students how to think, not what to think. We aimed to build a community grounded in empathy, resilience, and integrity.

Looking around the classroom, I see the living testament of that vision. I see school members who pour their hearts into their classrooms every single day. I see parents who have partnered with us, trusting us with their greatest treasures. And I see our students, past and present, who continue to carry the torch of our values out into the wider world.

To the current leadership and staff: the foundation has been laid, but the structure belongs to you. Keep innovating. Keep listening. Never let standard tests overshadow the unique brilliance of a single student.

To the students: remember that the education you receive here is a tool for service. True success is not measured by the titles you earn, but by the lives you lift up. The world needs your intelligence, but more importantly, it needs your kindness and courage.

Though my role has changed from leader to observer, my belief in this school remains unshaken. The story we started years ago is still being written, and the best chapters are yet to come.
